The ideaThe brand gap

The business moved on. The brand stayed where it was.

Most growing organisations reach a point where the business has moved on and the brand has not. The firm has merged, grown, or changed what it sells and who it sells to, and its name, identity and story still describe the company it used to be. That is the brand gap, and it gets more expensive the longer it runs.

I close it, from the strategy and identity through to the systems that keep a brand consistent once AI tools and dozens of people produce work in its name. The brand work runs through Pivitt, the consultancy I founded in London. The systems started as the ones Pivitt runs on.

One

The brand falls behind the business

The brand no longer describes the business. Acquisitions, new services, new markets and a bigger team leave the name and the story describing a smaller company.

Two

The work drifts from the brand

The brand on paper and the brand in the market drift apart, one sales deck, proposal and campaign at a time, as more people produce work in its name.

AI systemsBuilt for Pivitt first

Pivitt runs on AI systems I built. Now I build them for other businesses.

A company memory the AI works from, a portal that turns client emails into briefs, a brand system that checks every draft, a pipeline that produces finished documents, and an outreach system that wins the next conversation. Together they let a small senior team work at the pace and accuracy of a much larger one.

QuestionsBrand and AI systems

What people ask before the first call.

What does Davuud Ghani do?

Davuud Ghani is a London brand and AI consultant and the founder of Pivitt. He sets a business's position, identity and story, and builds the AI systems that keep its work on brand and moving quickly, from a company memory to a brand system AI tools can follow.

What AI systems does he build for businesses?

Systems built around the work a team already does: an operating memory the team and its AI tools work from, brief capture that turns client emails into tracked briefs, a brand system with written rules and checks, document production from one source, a daily brief and weekly review, and research and outreach. Each one started as a system Pivitt runs on.

Who does he work with?

Founders, CEOs and marketing leaders, mostly in professional services, property and investment, usually when the business has outgrown the brand it started with or the team is losing time to manual work.

How does an engagement work?

It starts by mapping where the brand has fallen behind the business or where the team loses time. Then the position, the rules and the systems are built around the work already being done, run on live work and measured. Every engagement is scoped and priced to the business before it starts.

What has the work delivered?

200,000+ assets produced across an 8-year BMW Group partnership, helping scale a start-up investment business past £40M in revenue in eighteen months, and helping grow a UK home services business from £300k to £2.18M in revenue, 118% above target.

Where is he based?

London, working with clients across the UK and worldwide, in person and online.
